Robin began his journey in the waste industry after leaving school and securing a job with an environmental company based at a depot in Nottingham, his role involved selling wheely bins off the back of a trailer. Robin worked in various waste management roles before securing his current position as Managing Director at Hamilton
Waste in 2018. Over the past 5 years Robin has inspired significant change within the industry, with Hamilton Waste becoming the first Scottish waste management company to attain a carbon neutral status through implementing a dedicated strategy of mitigation and offset measures.
We discuss Robins extensive career journey as well as his values and future goals. Robin shares his determination and enthusiasm towards changing the way in which Scotland disposes of mattresses.
