On episode 14 of the Rubbish Talk podcast, we spoke to Gail Martin, Centre Engagement Manager at CIWM.
Gail initially joined the resources and wastes sector on a temporary contract where she quickly developed an interest and passion for the sector. Gail is a previous employee of Albion Environmental and currently works with CIWM (Chartered Institution of Wastes Management) which is the leading professional membership body and learning provider for individuals working within the resources and waste sector. An advocate of continual professional development, Gail recruits and supports members to achieve Chartered status, and works with CIWM’s ten regional centres.
Gail explains her passion for helping others to become chartered in the waste industry and explains the various career paths available with CIWM.
